Why is my NVRmini failed to record?


[Problem Description]

The hard drives have been installed properly. The IP cameras and recording schedule have been configured properly as well. I can see the live video through IE browser. Why is there not any recorded video at playback?


[Troubleshooting]

Please check your RAID management first. Have you ever formatted your hard drives?


Please follow the instructions below.

(1) Start an IE browser and connect to this NVRmini.

(2) Are you able to see “Free Capacity: xx GB” in the upper right corner?

If no, it means there is a problem with your hard drives.

(3) Go to RAID & File System -> RAID Management.

Please check if there is any disabled hard drive volume.

(4) Go to File System Management.

Please check if there is any disabled hard drive volumes?

[Solution]

Please make sure RAID configuration is being configured properly. You may use either method below.

(1) Run NVRmini Setup Wizard completely.

(2) Configure the RAID volume at IE browser.

Go to “RAID & File System” and then delete the failed RAID volume if it is necessary.

Go to “Create” and move the hard drives to “Disk(s) in RAID.”

RAID volume is being formatted.

You will be able to see “Free Capacity: xxGB” after hard drives are being formatted.
