Q: How can I change the video quality for recording and remote live view?

A: Since version 3.2, NUUO software supports "transcode" function that re-compresses the video so that user can set different profiles of recording to save hard disk space or to set different profiles of live stream to save network bandwidth.

Below is the instrument to configure transcode functions.

Transcode for recording

• Change the recording frame rate and the resolution for analog cameras

• Change the recording frame rate and the resolution for IP cameras

Transcode for live stream

1.)Server side:

a.)In Main console click on config buttons and select setting

b.)Go to camera tab and click on Stream profile

c.) There are five stream profiles that can be set for Remote live viewer

2.)client side

Client side:In Remote Live viewer software, right click on the channel and select the stream profile you prefer.
