NVRmini upgrade overview

Upgrading the firmware version of NVRmini is really just a 2-step process. Simply copy the firmware into the [PUBLIC] folder in NVRmini's hard drive then upgrade it in NVRmini's Firmware Upgrade menu.

• Download the latest firmware and AP

• Check out the release notes

Instruction

1.) Find your unit through Windows Explorer or Run (insert “\\” plus the IP address of your unit)

2.) Login with the administrator account and password

• DO NOT use any other account

3.) Put the associated firmware file(.upg file) into the [PUBLIC] folder

• NV2020 - nv2020_OS010603p1_2.3.4.2892.upg

• NV2040 - nv2040_OS010603p1_2.3.4.2892.upg

• NV4080 - [nv4080_OS010514p1_2.3.4.2892.upg

• NV4160 - nv4160_OS010514p1_2.3.4.2892.upg

4.) Login to NVRmini with admin account via Internet Explorer

5.) Click on [System]->[System Upgrade]->[Firmware Upgrade]

7.) Choose the volume and folder (Example, VOLUME1 folder PUBLIC) where the new firmware is located

9.) Press select button.

10.)Select the correspondent upg file.

11.) Click [OK] to start upgrade

12.) Please do not unplug the power supply when upgrade in process.

13.) Reboot the system after upgrade is completed then you are done

Notice

If your NVRmini is version 1.0, you have to upgrade to 1.2 first before upgrading to 1.3.

After 1.3, just upgrade the firmware to latest one.
