NVRmini motion detection as alarm trigger

NVRmini motion detection can be used as an alarm trigger to fire 3 different alert responses: [E-mail], [CMS] and [Output]. Each alert will also have an on screen display message associated with it.

Setup motion detection as alarm trigger

1.) In the web interface of the camera, go to [Setup]->[Event Configuration]->[Motion Detection]

• example uses Axis 214, the actual location of motion detection could be different for other camera models

2.) Define the region of motion detection then click [Save]

3.) Login to NVRmini and add the IP camera in [Camera Setting]

• Use admin account and password ONLY (other accounts will give you problems)

4.) Go to [Recording & Event]->[Event and Action Management] and select [Motion from Camera]

5.) Click on [Add] to choose the alert responses

• You can select multiple responses
• If you don't select any responses, the alert will only be displayed on screen.

6.) Click [Save] to save the settings

7.) Complete
