Live streaming server can not be connected overview
In general, this error message is caused by network problem so always check your network connection first.
If the you are connecting to a remote server or device through WAN. Please make sure the remote server or device is not behind a router's firewall or the port is forwarded properly to bypass the router's firewall.
NVRmini
There are 4 possibilities that can cause this problem.
- You don't use admin account and password to insert the camera (most cameras will NOT work without admin account/password)
- The camera is disconnected. Please check the camera is streaming data successfully (it should show Connected and has Bitrate in camera status)
- Black white list is enabled.
- The live streaming server of NVRmini stops responding. Please reboot the NVRmini and try again.
NUUO NVR, DVR or Hybrid
There are a few scenarios which may trigger this error message:
Live streaming server is inactive
Please check if live steaming server is activated. If so, please also check the connecting port for remote live view which is [5150] by default and [80] for remote IE client. Please also see Default ports.
Black or white listed
Please check the [Black / White List] in the network service menu. If you are NOT on the white list, you can't connect. If you are ON the black list, you can't connect.
