How to use SCB-S-IO Card to connect with PTZ Camera via RS-485 to control PTZ function?

Environment

Model:Main Console, SCB-S-IO

Version:v3.5.20

Step 1. SCB-S-IO Card Setup

1.) Turn off the power of PC before install S-IO card.

2.) Connect ATX Power cable between S-IO and PC power supply.

3.) Connect IDC cable between S-IO card and NUUO DVR card (SCB-7000S, SCB-6000S, SCB-8000HD)

4.) Connect IO device as below:

Note: Dry contact is not supported. Digital input device requires 5V.


Step 2. Main Console Setup

Click the “General Setting” button, and open “Setting→System Setting”.

1.) Select the “PTZ Config” tab.

2.) Fill in the Basic Setting, inclusive of Camera model, COM Port, Baud Rate and Address.

Please note: you need to check the analog camera user manual for the PTZ protocol and baud rate.

The PTZ protocols NUUO currently supports are Pelco D, Pelco P, Samsung, Lilin and Dynacolor.

3.) Click “OK” button to save the configuration.
