Dual monitor overview
NUUO software supports dual monitor display as well as triple monitor display. You can setup live view on both Monitor 1 and Monitor 2 or watch playback on either one of them. To do this, you will need to have a graphic cards installed in your computer.
- The live view of SBC-5000 series capture cards which uses H.264 video compression can only be displayed on the primary monitor(or Monitor 1) due to the hardware limitations.
Setting up dual monitor
Connecting to the graphics card
1.) Plug Monitor 1 into the DVI or DSUB port and Monitor 2 into the DSUB port on the graphic card
- Some graphic cards may have two DVI ports or two DSUB ports instead of one DVI and one DSUB ports shown in the illustrations, just go ahead and plug them in
Setup in Windows (Windows XP)
2.) Right-click on [Windows Desktop]->[Properties]->[Settings]
3.) Select Monitor 2 and click on [Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor] to enable it
Setup in NUUO main console
4.) Start [Main Console]->[Config]->[Setting]->[Monitor Display]
5.) Click on [Primary]
6.) Add/Remove any camera you want to view on the primary monitor by moving them between (X) and (Y) panels
7.) Click on [Secondary] and pick the cameras to be displayed on the secondary monitor
8.) Select [2] at [Run Playback on Monitor] to have playback displayed on Monitor 2
9.) Click [OK] to save all configuration and back to the live view interface
10.) In main console, click on [Start]->[Enable Secondary Display]
- [Start] in main console, not Windows start menu
11.) Congratulation! You have just completed dual monitor display and should now see something like this:
12.) You can also click on [Playback] to run watch playback on Monitor 2
