Overview

Main console supports a modular design of camera support since version 3.3. New cameras can be added by installing an extra package. Device packs are released independently from main console releases.

The latest version is 1.14.0.

Installation

Device pack is available on NUUO's FTP site.

To install a device pack, main console must be installed first. If main console is not installed, device pack cannot be installed.

1. Download the zip file and unzip it. In the unzipped files, run SetupTool.exe

2. Select the main console type to which you want to add the device pack.

3. Installation completed.

Uninstallation

1. Go to Control Panel and open up Add or Remove Programs

2. Find Device Pack and then you can remove it

Compatibility table

This table shows the compatible versions of device pack with main console. Generally, new device packs are backward compatible with older versions of main console as long as main console's version is greater than 3.2.

Each version of main console has a minimal compatible version of device pack. Older versions of main console can work with the latest device pack, but newer versions of main console can't work with older versions of device pack.

Troubleshooting

Device packs work only with main console versioning from 3.3.0. They do not work with older versions.

If you have multiple NUUO distributions installed on your computer, you need to device pack separately for those distributions, respectively.

Device packs work only with PC-based NVR and DVR. NVRmini does not support device packs.
