DDNS
From NUUO Wiki
NUUO DDNS overview
NUUO main console supports 3 DDNS services: DynDNS, DtDNS, and Dynu. No other DDNS services are supported at the moment.
- If your main console connects to a router instead of connecting directly to the internet, then you will need to setup the DDNS between router and the DDNS service provider. In this case, you can use any DDNS service provider that your router supports. In addition, step 12 and 13 do not apply.
DDNS comes in handy when your NUUO main console's IP address is assigned by a DHCP server. Clients can connect to the same host name each time in a similar fashion as NUUO server that has a static IP address.
