Self diagnosis procedure
1. Check hardware compatibility
Check the compatibility list to see whether your motherboard/VGA card is compatible with the capture cards.
- Make sure using an Independent VGA card (512MB).
- Upgrade the driver for the VGA card(please refer to the hardware compatibility list)
- Make sure the VGA card enable hardware acceleration. See here for a detailed description.
- Make sure your DirectX version is 9.0 or above, and Direct3D and DirectShow are enabled. See here for a detail description.
2. Make sure the capture card is seated firmly in the PCI/PCI-E slot.
- Try another different PCI slot and see if the problem can be solved.
- Try another capture card and see if the problem can be solved.
- Try installing it in the same pc and see if the problem can be solved.
- Try another pc with a different spec and see if the problem can be solved.
Note: If you have more than one capture cards, please test a single capture card and remove the others first. Test one card at a time until you find out the trouble card.
3. Make sure the pigtail/coaxial cables/analog cameras are all connected.
Note: If you are using a video splitter, please remove it temporarily.
4. Re-install the capture card driver and software.
Download the latest driver for SCB cards and software. Please make sure all video/audio devices are shown correctly in the Windows Device Manager after reboot.
