NUUO SCB-4016 overview (version 3.3)

NUUO SCB-4016 works with NUUO DVR and NDVR solution. SCB-4016 capture card is responsible for encoding the video data. It compresses images into Mpeg4 video format. Video decoding is done by the CPU.

You can install one SCB-4016 capture card per computer and it will not work in conjunction with any other NUUO capture cards.

Maximum resolution and frame rate

SCB-4016 supports maximum of 16 channels of real-time FPS (30 NTSC / 25 PAL) at CIF resolution. It supports full D1 resolution (704x480 NTSC / 704x588 PAL)) at 7.5 FPS.

The processing power of SCB-4016 is equally shared between all 16 channels. Therefore, it doesn't matter if you have 1 camera or 16 cameras connected. They will be running at the same resolution/FPS. For instance, 1 camera at D1 resolution will run at 7.5 FPS and 16 cameras at D1 resolution will also run at 7.5 FPS.

SCB-4016 supports 16 channels video out. It will always display 16 channels on the TV and this setting cannot be adjusted.
